The National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC) is proud to announce the establishment of National Navigator Day on December 9th, a day dedicated to recognizing the vital role of oncology navigators in cancer care. This annual day of observance aims to highlight the profound impact navigators have in guiding patients through the often-complex journey of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Oncology navigators provide invaluable support to individuals and families facing cancer. The NCBC Navigators’ dedication ensures that no patient faces the challenges of breast cancer alone by bridging gaps, educating patients and caregivers, connecting to appropriate supportive services, and advocating for their patients for the best outcomes. National Navigator Day honors these professionals for their commitment to improving patient outcomes and reducing disparities in care.
Happy Navigator's Day from your North Texas Navigator Network!
